Seth and I were invited to our Church's "Staff Party" since I am now in charge of the flowers at our church. The theme of the night was the Clue game. So I came dressed as......drum roll please.....can you guess????? Yes I came as Miss Scarlet! Seth wonderfully dressed up at Colonel Mustard! We went with our Youth Pastor and his wife, they dressed up at Professor Plum and Mrs. Peacock. It was a wonderful night of fellowship, talking, laughing (there was a segment of the night of funny videos, and one of the kids from the youth group put togethe
r a "sermon" that Pastor preached, cutting and pasting in, it sounded like Pastor said all sort of funny things, like the woman's movement is what we should be doing, and we should all be discontent and work on it) eating, and of course playing live clue! I've never been to a live clue game myself, so it was a first. Our Pastors home was just amazing! Gorgeous! And we were looking in every corner we could find! My team won!! But we are talking about little line 1-2 inch pewter pieces, they were hard to find, I only found the rope, but good thing my team was better! We are looking forward to Christmas vacation and visiting family, I'll post pictures after the holiday's of our vacation! Merry Christmas!

Miss Scarlet, and Mrs. Peacock looking demur, okay I couldn't figure out how to do a Miss Scarlet face, so I just did a Mrs. Peacock face.

Seth and I, he couldn't smile because of his mustache

A collage of Clue pieces we found, can you guess who was the murderer and what weapon they used?

Seth and I all dressed up to go to the Young Married Christmas Party at our church. They aren't the best pics but I pressed the timer and ran to get a picture taken! I made my skirt, so if it's messed up it's not my fault!

My new sweater is a peitite but still a little long oh well!

Well the 3 weeks of Seth being gone are coming to a close. He should be arriving at the Austen/Strabel airport Sunday night. He has been working nights so it will be a transition for him to get back to days, but he has off on Monday. I am still sick with this stupid flu that doesn't seem to want to go away. But Kelly's walk/run is coming up and I have to make chocolates for it, and if I don't get better soon, they won't get done. So if anyone feels like coming up to my house to help me make these yellow chocolate ribbons, that would be awesome!

This is my adorable brother Sam, we took a ton of pictures today with him in his uniform and soccer ball! I think this one looked the best!
My favorite plaid vest with some new shoes, but I am not sure if they don't look to grandmaish. What does everyone think? Oxfords are in right now but I'm not sure how they look.
My daddy is getting ready to leave for Iraq. Seth will be gone for 2 weeks still. Kelly is at the hospital right now. Mother is really sick. And the other kids, well ya they're all doing great, naughty but great! ;-) If you can't read it, it says "my battle scars, wielded by a little brother!

This is Seth and his friend and coworker Brad, walking through New York! Doesn't he look handsome! He's been working nights at the power plant, 12 hour shifts, during their outage. Nothing to exciting but it was a nice chance to work at another plant. But he's still going to be gone for a few more weeks.

Molly is down visiting her family. She went to her brother Sam's soccer game yesterday. Then came to her parents house and is spending a few days here visiting family. Her dad is leaving for Iraq this next week and her sister Kelly is still very sick from Chemo. Seth started working in Connecticut, he said they are very laid back and so work should be interesting. The plant there is a lot larger then where he is at right now. Hopefully he'll have fun and learn something while he's there! Well fall has certainly started to show it's head, time to give up t-shirts for sweaters!!!

Yes this is my very funny husband. Please pray for him as he is heading out to Connecticut to work an outage there. That means long hours, and little else to do but sleep. And also for me as I'll be staying here in Wisconsin the entire 3 weeks. He'll be leaving Saturday at 10 and getting back in 3 weeks on a Sunday night around 8. I know I'll be missing him sorely as he's gone, but it's a good opportunity for him.
